Denim: Back In Trend

Did you know that denim is one of the most beloved textiles, because it’s always in trend? It’s easy to wear, it can be combined with many different types of clothes, textiles and textures. You’ve probably noticed that when wearing denim, you feel younger, like you’re just blossoming. This is because of the denim itself, due to the fact that it gives you a fresh and young look, irrespectively of the age. The first clothes maker to use the denim textile was the famous Levi Strauss. Presenting itself with a very high quality rating, in modern times, denim is used at its fullest by designers in almost all fashion collections. Same thing applies for jeans as well, although they have been reinvented and have suffered many changes throughout the years, jeans are still managing to be a top textile choice. Either simple, torn, printed on or mixed with other textiles they represent a key element in our wardrobe no matter what season it is.

Thanks to an outstanding texture but also a variable color range, denim is found in wide range of clothing sectors, from shirts, pants, skirts to even accessories. Denim can’t be tagged as just for sportswear, because it is a complex material, which can also grace more elegant attire.  A high waist-line skirt, with a strong 80’s look, along with a stylish jacket and a purse to match can really show off the office chic in you.  A denim vest, combined with a simple white shirt and slightly baggy pants is yet another successful way to achieve a fun, but also office appropriate style. Denim jackets are another great example of clothing choice. Chic, but also spiced up with accessories and fake pockets are also key elements of a casual look. They go great with all sorts of skirts, both long and short and also country-style boots. Don’t forget to top it off with a nice and wide suede leather belt!
